Embracing Your Story is the core of the Memory Care Education program at Cross Keys Village. It consists of 3 series of group meetings designed to inform, orient, reassure, and inspire people living with neurocognitive disorders (such as Alzheimer’s disease or another related dementia) and their care partners. The whole program is offered three times a year and combines social and educational benefits. The program is open to villagers and to our neighbors in the greater community, at no cost to participants.
Director of Memory Support Erin Nelson and Memory Support Education Coordinator Kim Korge facilitate this unique opportunity to connect with others who are facing the challenges that follow a dementia diagnosis though the progression of the disease. Light refreshments are provided. The meetings are held in the Lifespring Memory Support Resource Center, located at 227 Village Drive New Oxford, PA 17350, near the Route 94 / Village Drive campus entrance.
