Lifespring – Coming Fall 2024

A New Daytime Program

Today, there are over 11 million American’s providing unpaid care for people living with Alzheimer’s disease or other related dementias. In Pennsylvania alone, caregivers provide 465,000 hours of unpaid care a year to loved ones. In response to a clear community need to relieve caregiver burden and enhance the brain health and happiness of those living with dementia, Cross Keys Village is preparing to open Lifespring. Lifespring will be an innovative memory care day program focused on engaging the mind, body, and spirit of those living with dementia.

Construction of Lifespring Day Services and Memory Support Resource Center will be completed in the fall of 2024. Lifespring is the latest component in Cross Keys Village’s comprehensive portfolio of memory support services. The design of the building was developed with the input of our previous Adult Day management team, memory care experts, and families.

Engagement and Brain Health

Lifespring Day Services at Cross Keys Village is specifically designed to combine health services with social activities in order to help participants stay mentally and physically engaged, reduce their isolation, and slow down any decline in their abilities. Our secure, supportive program offers a variety of wholesome and stimulating activities, supervised by a trained and caring team in an inviting setting.

Each day we will provide a morning and afternoon snack, in addition to a hot meal at lunchtime which is included in the daily fee. We also will be offering personal care assistance, including toileting, medication administration and bathing. Friendships, love from others and support are human needs that never change. Lifespring offers a socially stimulating environment that enables your loved one to feel worthy while participating in a genuinely fulfilling day.
