A New Environment at CKV
Between 2006 and 2020, Cross Keys Village built 115 homes in the Bridgewater area, at the southwest edge of our campus. Generously sized Country Homes (single family) and Garden Homes (duplex) were adopted with enthusiasm by retirees preferring not to downsize… too much. Since Bridgewater cannot be seen from Route 94 or Route 30, visitors routinely exclaim: “I had no idea this was here.”
On January 12, our Marketing Team revealed to select members on our wait list that Cross Keys Village is planning a distinctive new environment to wrap up the Bridgewater neighborhood. This may be the final significant expansion of CKV’s Residential Living program. Bridgewater Landing will be situated beside a scenic 3-acre water feature, making comfortable and unpretentious “lakeside living” a reality year-round. Kayaking, fishing, bird-watching, picnics, and stargazing with friends as the sun sets at the end of a beautiful day will be part of the Bridgewater Landing lifestyle.
New floor plans have been designed for this expansion, all following an open concept allowing Bridgewater Landing occupants to enjoy nature from their sun-filled and comfortable homes. Bridgewater Landing will feature Country Homes, Garden Homes, and a clubhouse next to the water feature for informal neighborly gatherings. Special attention will be given to landscaping and its integration with nature.
Bridgewater Landing is but 1 of 3 major construction projects on Cross Keys Village’s strategic plan. Our Lifespring Memory Support Resource Center and Day Center will open first, in late 2024. The first Bridgewater Landing homes will welcome new occupants in 2025. Finally, a new Personal Care apartment building, with amenities comparable to what is available in Harmony Ridge, will be completed in 2026.
